Gale Elie Leads the Way to Jacksonville on Mo Knows Fitness Show

Using the quote "behind every great man is a great woman" may sound clichéd but it befits IFBB Pro Dexter Jackson and Gale Elie to the letter. The Mo Knows Fitness Show hosted by IFBB Pro Marie Ann Newman was abuzz with excitement between hostess and guest NPC competitor Gale Elie and co-promoter of the Dexter Jackson Classic/Jacksonville Pro. Although Gale is better known as the girlfriend of IFBB Pro Dexter Jackson that doesn't mean she's less important. Anyone who has competed in the Dexter Jackson Classic knows it's an event which has one of the best reputations on the circuit and Gale is its leading force.

This season she has admitted she's so excited by the upcoming event. Although promoting the Dexter Jackson Classic is a large responsibility both athletes are giving back to the military community in the Jacksonville area during this time. During the week of July 5-9 Dexter will award the first fourteen military personnel to fax in their military ID with VIP tickets to the Dexter Jackson Classic/ Jacksonville Pro show. Not only will these VIP passes allow the personnel to enjoy the pro/am event but will give them the chance to attend the star-studded seminar which will include IFBB athletes Toney Freeman, Lenda Murray, Kai Green, Tracey Greenwood and others. The line-up will also include The Blade's nutritionist Joe McNeil and training guru Charles Glass.

Besides VIP tickets for the show and seminar; two VIP ticket holders will be the winners of two VIP Arnold Classic tickets. Although this prize is very exciting for bodybuilding fans The Blade and Gale are also giving back to the community by donating to Dreams Come True for children with terminal illnesses. For every ticket sold there will be a dollar donated,as well as, matched.

As for the show itself Gale is looking forward to the line-up and has done everything in her power to make sure the event is running smoothly and has been designed to offer divisions for newcomers and seasoned athletes to take advantage of. For those who are unfamiliar or new to the sport the Dexter Jackson Classic is according to Elie, "4A, meaning that it's open nation wide but not a national qualifier and although it is not a national qualifier; we make it the quality of a national show. To be able to be on stage in front of the pro judges and the national level pro judges is a great opportunity for the NPC level competitors." Mo couldn't agree more. She believes this is one of the best ways for an athlete trying to move up to the national level to promote themselves.

Gale says anyone who's interested in doing the Dexter Jackson Classic only has to "show up in shape" and she and her team will be taking care of the rest. The dynamic duo has already made certain there will be great goody bags, a shuttle service for competitors and Protan, a sponsor of the show, will be there to provide touch ups for competitors. Gale also says she has tried to dismiss any confusion by putting helpful tips on the website for newbies and all that's left is for competitors is come out with their best package, meet some new friends and have a great time.
