Mo Knows Fitness with IFBB Pro Brandie and Tim Gardner

IFBB Pro Marie Ann Newman, hostess of the Mo Knows Fitness show, hits it off with IFBB Pro Brandie Gardner and her husband contest prep guru Tim Gardner. Although both ladies are in the midst of contest prep for the DJC/Jacksonville Pro this is not the only thing the Gardner's are preparing for. At the moment Brandie and Tim are promoting the IFBB Tampa Bay Pro & NPC Tim Gardner Extravaganza and their long standing separate show the NPC Hurricane & Typhoon Bay. Tim and Brandie begin working on these shows a year out. As soon as one is complete it is time to prep for the next. This not only includes venues and host hotels but searching for sponsors, and so much more.
In the case of the Tampa Bay Pro Jim admits they're very lucky to have sponsors such as Pro Bodybuilding Weekly, Complete Genetic Defiance, Gaspari, Whiskey Joe's, Jan Tana and others. Getting the first sponsor is the hardest and he's very grateful to both Pro Bodybuilding Weekly and Complete Genetic Defiance for their participation in this year's big event. With any sponsorship for the show Tim has made sure to give it all he's got with commercials and good representation of their logos. Although there won't be a live web cast of the show that doesn't mean fans will be missing out. The rival teams from Probodybuilding Weekly, Muscular Development and RxMuscle will be there to give the fans a play-by-play of the event.
While speaking of guests; Tim and Brandie have lined up none other than Lee Haney to be the guest of honor. Tim relishes the opportunity whenever possible to highlight the greats of the sport past and present.
Competing in the IFBB Tampa Bay Pro/ NPC Tim Gardner Extravaganza will be a great chance for competitors to meet high level judges, as well. Tim believes "the best thing you can do is get with the judge and give them your number before prejudging even begins." Communicating with the judge beforehand will allow him to pay closer attention to you on stage so waiting until after the show for feedback is not always optimal. Tim also gives the advice that personal trainers in the industry should attend a national show in order to understand the caliber of athlete that competes on this level. It will help a trainer to understand the difference between the levels of competition and how to better prepare clients.
Although Tim and Brandie are enthused by the pro-show production they are also excited about promoting the NPC Hurricane & Typhoon Bay and expect to have another stellar turn-out this year. Although this show is not a national qualifier it's open nation wide to any athlete who would like to participate. Just as the previous years the NPC Hurricane Bay show has never had less than 110 competitors and this year should be no different.
With all the excitement of both events Tim and Brandie have made sure that the after party will be as eventful as the bodybuilding show. Their sponsor Whiskey Joe's will be throwing the after party and it will carry on well into the night; until three a.m. to be exact. Not only will there be a DJ but a full menu will be available for guests. The ambiance will be friendly and fun and it's a chance for competitors, fans and judges to mingle and enjoy themselves.
