David Coleman, 32, of Savannah, GA took the lightheavyweight class and
went on to the final comparisons and posedown and to take the overall title
back to Savannah.

Stephanie Jackson-Terrell, 24, of Macon, GA, won the middleweight class
unanimously and moved to the finals taking the overall.

The 2001 Atlantic USA was held on February 17 at the World Congress
Center in Atlanta and was promoted by Ty Felder and his Ropeman’s Fitness
along with Doc Neely.

Rylan Rose, 33, a Margate firefighter, finished 3rd in the middleweight
class in this contest last year, came back to take the middleweight class,
the best poser award and the overall title.

Laurie Wallace, 30, a physical therapist from Vero Beach, took the
lightweight class, best poser award and the overall title after only training
for 6 months.

The NPC Diamond Cup, a tested event, was held on September 16 at the
Suncoast Community High School in Riveria Beach and was promoted by Ruel
Griffin and his RG Promotions. Athletes must have been drug free for life to
compete in this event.

The 2000 NPC Star Trac Mountaineer Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships
were held on September 30 in the Farthing Auditorium of Appalachian State
University in Boone, NC. The national qualifier was promoted by Roger
Morrison and his Morrison Productions.

After taking the lightheavyweight class Mark Neal went into the posedown
with the class winners and was the unanimous choice for the overall title.
.....
The women’s open saw a total of 11 women in three classes: 4
lightweights, 5 middleweights and 2 heavyweights.
.....
Teresa Moore took the middleweight class and moved to the overall
comparisons and posedown to take the overall women’s division title.
