2002 NPC South Florida District Championships

The 2002 NPC South Florida District Bodybuilding and Figure
Championships were held on November 30 at the Milander Auditorium in
Hialeah under the promotion of Sergio Pacheco and his Physique World
Gym.

..... Marlon Lazo, 45, of Miami, took the lightweight class and moved into the finals to take the overall win.
.....
..... Vanessa Taylor, 41, of Carol City earned first place in the middleweight class and then unanimously took the overall title.
.....
..... Kelly Bonner, took the tall class win and moved into the finals and was the pick of the judges for the overall win.

2002 NPC Southeastern USA
.....
Men's open lightheavyweight winner, Lloyd Dollar of Orlando and women's
open lightweight winner, Kristine Grace of Ocala, were victorious in
staking claim to the overall bodybuilding titles at the NPC
Southeastern USA Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships, a
national qualifier, which were held October 5th at the Kissimmee Civic
Center, under the careful promotion of Pam Betz and Rod Larsen.

Law unanimously swept the short class in fitness over runner-up, Mary
Havican, 25, of Ocala, and Michelle Woodward, 27, of Decatur, GA., who
placed third.

Pamela Landquist, 24, of Boca Raton, dominated the figure competition
by unanimously winning the figure tall class and the overall title.
Landquist matched up strongly against short class winner, Sheila Law,
by defeating her for the overall crown, 5-9 points.

2002 NPC Elite Classic
.....
Quincy Roberts promoted his Elite Fitness Classic on November 2 in
Greensboro, NC at the Carolina Theatre. The competition drew an
attendance of 1000+ to view 89 athletes competing for the title.

Malcolm Marshall, 30, of Winston-Salem, NC dominated the heavyweight
class taking a unanimous decision and moved into the finals and was the
pick of the judging panel for the overall title.

Cassondre Wilburn, 32, of Chesapeake, VA, in her first NPC event, took
the middleweight class with a unanimous decision and after the final
comparisons and posedown was the choice of the judges for the overall
title.

..... The Figure Division was divided into two height classes with 10 entrants in the short class and 8 in the tall.

.....
Sheron Foster, 24, of Columbia, SC won rounds one and two for the short
class win and moved into the final comparisons to take the majority of
the first place votes from the judges for the overall win.

Hollywood Beach Cultural and Community Center under the promotion of
Dana Klein of DKMC, Inc.
