The 2003 NPC Southeastern USA Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure
Championships were held at the Orlando Expo Center on September 26 - 27
under a new promoter, James Goad. ..... ..... The Fitness and Figure prejudging was held on Friday evening at the Expo Center. ..... ..... Thirty-year-old Marcus Haley of Tampa took the superheavyweight class by a unanimous decision. ..... .....
After completion of the final comparisons and pose down there was a tie
between Marcus Haley and lightheavyweight winner Sean Mong with 11
points each. ..... ..... The highs and lows were added back in and Marcus Haley was declared the overall champion. ..... ..... Kirstin Tran, 39, of Sarasota was coming off of her Gulf Coast win to take the lightweight class by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... Kirstin went into the finals and once again scored all first place votes from the judges to take the overall title. ..... .....
The Fitness Division only had two entrants in the short class and Edith
Driver, 31, of Sarasota took all first place votes in each of the three
rounds of competition to take the overall title. ..... ..... The Figure Division had three classes with a total of 37 competitors. ..... .....
Class B (medium) had a total of eight entrants and twenty-five-year-old
Krisha Moore of Safety Harbor took all first place votes in each round
of the competition for a two-round total of 10 points to take the class
win. ..... ..... Kirsha then moved into the finals to take the decision of the judges for the overall win.

The 2003 NPC Mountaineer, a national qualifier, was held on September
27 at the Appalachian State University in Boone, NC under the promotion
of Roger Morrison and Morrison Productions. ..... .....
Joseph Barker, 26, of Harmony, NC took the superheavyweight class by a
unanimous decision and moved into the finals to capture his first
overall win. ..... .....
Forty-seven-year-old Kathy Sigmon of Stateville, NC was the unanimous
choice of the judges for the heavyweight class win and after the final
comparisons and posedown was the pick of the judges for the overall
title. ..... .....
The Fitness Division had three height classes and Annie Lomax, 24, of
Easley, SC was unopposed in Class B and moved into the finals to take
the overall win in her second contest appearance. ..... .....
The Figure Division was divided into three height classes and it was
thirty-four-year-old Lisa Jolly of Raleigh, NC making her contest debut
by taking the Class B win with a two round total of 12 points. ..... ..... Lisa then moved into the finals and was the pick of the judges for the overall win.

The 2nd Annual 2003 NPC Gulf Coast Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure
Championships were held in Ft. Myers at the Bishop Verot High School
Auditorium under the promotion of Matt DiRenzo and Intense Promotions. ..... .....
Veteran competitor Lorenzo Newton, 37, of Seminole took the
lightheavyweight class by a unanimous decision then moved into the
finals to take the overall win by receiving all first place votes from
the judges. ..... .....
Thirty-nine-year-old Kristin Tran of Sarasota took all first place
votes to take the lightweight class win and after the final comparisons
and pose down was declared the overall winner by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... Fifteen-year-old Jessika Coelho of Sarasota was unopposed in the Fitness Division. ..... .....
The Figure Division had a total of six entries and Jennifer Yamada, 30,
of Sarasota accumulated a two-round total of 13 points to take the
title.
