Twenty-one-year-old John Shamburger of Doyline, LA dominated the lightheavyweight class by taking all first place votes from the judges for the class win. ..... ..... John then entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and once again scored all first place votes for the unanimous victory. ..... ..... Wanda Moore, 41, of Jackson, TN was coming off of her recent overall win at the NPC Vulcan Classic to take a one-point (8 - 9) decision for the lightweight class win. ..... ..... Wanda then moved into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and was the unanimous pick of the judges for the overall title. ..... ..... The Fitness Division had a total of three entries and it was thirty-five-year-old Ann Marie Gibbs of Little Rock, AR taking a three-round total of 27 points for the overall title. ..... ..... David Griffin, 25, of North Charleston, was coming off of his 2006 NPC Palmetto Cup victory and scored all first place votes to take the lightheavyweight class by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... David then entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class winners and took a one-point (7 - 8) margin of victory for the overall title. ..... ..... Clarice Zimmer, 44, of Charleston was the unanimous choice of the judges for the heavyweight class win. ..... ..... The 2006 NPC Southern Cup Bodybuilding and Figure Championships was held on May 13 at the River Center Convention Hall in Shreveport, LA under the promotional efforts of Robert Blount and Prince Harrison. Orlando Griffin, 19, of Monroe, LA was the unanimous choice of the judging panel for the middleweight class win. ..... ..... There were no other class entries so Orlando Griffin was the automatic open men’s champion. ..... .....
