2003 NPC Central Florida District Championships

The 2003 NPC Central Florida District Bodybuilding, Fitness &
Figure Championships, under the promotion of Son and Kirsten Tran, was
held on Saturday May 17th at the Bayshore High school in Bradenton, FL
with a total of 46 athletes. ..... .....
Alan Stein, 41, of Bradenton, took the lightweight class with a
unanimous decision and moved into the finals to take the overall win. ..... .....
Kathleen Schloss, 33, from New Port Ritchey, FL took the women’s
lightweight win with a unanimous decision and after the final
comparisons and posedown was the choice of the judges for the overall
title. ..... .....
The Fitness Division had two competitors and fifteen-year-old Jessika
Coelho made her contest debut by taking the overall title. ..... ..... The Figure Division was well represented with six entrants and twenty-six-year old Kim Swatts from Sarasota took the title.

Championships were held on May 31 at the Koger Center For The
Performing Arts in Columbia under the promotion of South Carolina State
Chairman Ken Taylor. ..... .....
Thirty-six-year-old Thomas Kelly of Leesville took the middleweight
class win over 6 other athletes and moved into the final comparisons
and posedown to take the overall win. ..... .....
Pam Shealy, 34, of Lexington took the middleweight class by a unanimous
decision and after the final comparisons was the pick of the judges for
the overall win. ..... .....
The Fitness Division was divided into two height classes and it was
Tessa King, 27, of Mt. Pleasant dominating all three rounds of
competition to take the short class win and after the final comparisons
was the pick of the judges for the overall title. ..... .....
The Figure Division was divided into three height classes and Jeannie
Skinner, 23, of Columbia took all first place votes in both rounds of
competition to take the tall class win. ..... ..... Jeannie moved into the finals and was the choice of the judges for the overall title.

The 2003 NPC 3rd Annual Body Max Classic Bodybuilding and Figure
Championships were held on May 24 at the Central Florida Community
College Auditorium in Ocala under the promotion of Scott Kalb. ..... .....
Thirty-five-year-old Mike Horan of Gainesville dominated the
lightheavyweight class with all first place votes for the class win
then moved into the finals to take the overall title by a unanimous
decision. ..... .....
Joany Babilonia, 25, of Altamonte Springs was making her first contest
appearance and took the heavyweight class win by a unanimous decision.
Joany then moved into the final comparisons and took the overall title
by taking all first place votes from the judges. ..... .....
The Figure Division was divided into two height classes and
twenty-six-year-old Alanah Copeland of Land O’Lakes took the majority
of first place votes in both rounds of competition to take the tall
class win. ..... ..... Alanah moved into the finals to take the overall win by a unanimous decision.

at the Cobb County Civic Center under the promotion of Georgia State

Thirty-two-year-old Wendell Floyd of Marietta, GA took the majority of
the judges votes for the lightheavyweight class win and moved into the
final comparisons and pose down to capture the overall title. ..... ..... Amy Neal of Atlanta, GA was unopposed in the middleweight class and was the pick of the judges for the women’s overall. ..... .....
The Figure Division was divided into two height classes and Tammy
Jolly, 36, of Charlotte, NC captured the short class title with a
majority of the judges first place votes. Tammy moved into the final
comparisons and was the pick of the judges for the overall win.
