The 2004 NPC Florida State Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure
Championships, under the promotion of John Organ, was held on September
18 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center in West Palm Beach. ..... .....
Troy Liverman, 30, of Coconut Creek, who was competing for only the
second time, scored all first place votes from the judging panel for
the unanimous lightheavyweight class win. ..... ..... Troy then moved into the final comparisons and pose down and took the majority of first place votes for the overall win. ..... ..... Veteran competitor Nekole Hamrick, 34, of Orlando took the heavyweight class win by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... Nekole then went into the finals and once again took all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous overall title. ..... ..... Allison Dobbs, 23, of Tampa, was making her second contest appearance and was unopposed in the Fitness Division. ..... ..... The Figure Division was divided into four height classes. ..... .....
Thirty-year-old Kristine Chin of Miami scored all first place votes in
both rounds of the competition for a total of 10 points to take the
Class B win. ..... .....
Kristine then moved into the final comparisons and took the majority of
first place votes from the judging panel for the overall win.

The 2004 NPC Junior Florida was held on Saturday, October 2 at the
Merritt Island High School Auditorium under the promotional efforts of
Florida Central District Chairman Pete Fancher of Melbourne. ..... .....
Hurricane Jeanne had devastated the area just one week prior and the
show was not confirmed with hotels or a venue until two days before the
event when power was re-stored. ..... .....
Veteran competitor Scott Hunter, 39, of Holiday took the majority of
first place votes from the judging panel for the middleweight class win. ..... ..... Scott then went into the final comparisons and pose down and edged out a one-point decision for the overall win. ..... .....
Thirty-six-year-old Donna Barber of Panama City took all first place
votes in both rounds of competition in the medium class of the Figure
Division to take the class win. ..... ..... Donna then went into the final comparisons and once again scored all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous win.

The last show for North Carolina for 2004 was the NPC Elite Muscle
Classic, a national qualifier, was held at the Carolina Theatre in
Greensboro under the promotion of Quincy Roberts and his Elite Fitness
Center. ..... ..... The event drew a total of 121 competitors from several states. ..... .....
Greg Jones, 27, of Salisbury, NC took a one-point (7 - 8) decision for
the heavyweight class win and moved into the final comparisons and pose
down to emerge as the favorite for the overall title from the judges. ..... ..... Christine Brandon, 38, of Winston-Salem, NC was the unanimous choice of the judges for the lightheavyweight class win. ..... ..... Christine went into the finals and once again was the pick of the judges for the overall title. ..... ..... The Fitness Division was divided into two height classes. ..... .....
Lishia Dean, 25, of Greensboro, NC, who was competing for the first
time, was unopposed in the short class and moved into the finals to
take the overall title. ..... ..... The Figure Division was divided into three height classes. ..... ..... Candace Howell, 21, of Greensboro, NC took a two-round total of 12 points to take the short class win. ..... ..... Candace then moved into the finals and was the choice of the judging panel for the overall win.
