2005 NPC North Carolina State
..... North Carolina kicked off the contest season with the state championships, the 2005 NPC North Carolina State Bodybuilding, Fitness and Figure Championships that was held at the High Point Theatre in High Point under the promotion of North Carolina State Chairman Mike Valentino.

..... Jason Wojciechowski, 31, of Durham collected all first place votes from the judging panel to take the lightheavyweight class by a unanimous decision.
.....
..... Jason moved into the final comparisons and pose down and took the majority of first place votes from the judges for the overall title.
.....
..... Tangola Morgan, 33, of Salisbury was unopposed in the heavyweight class.
.....
..... Tangola went into the final comparisons and pose down and emerged with all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous overall win.
.....
..... Kristin Lowe, 32, of Greensboro was unopposed in the Fitness Division.
.....
..... The Figure Division was divided into four height classes with a total of 16 athletes entered.
.....
..... Holly Baroni, 33, of Cornelius took first place votes in both rounds of the competition for a total of 10 points to take Class D by a unanimous decision.
.....
..... Holly went into the finals and after the comparisons of the class winners was the choice of the judges for the overall title.

2005 NPC Atlantic USA
..... The 2005 NPC Atlantic USA Bodybuilding and Figure Championships, the first national qualifier for the year for Georgia, was held on March 19 at the Gwinnett County’s Meadow Creek High School in Norcross under the promotion of Georgia District Chairman Ty “Ropeman” Felder.

..... Thirty-year-old Jason Hamner of Columbus, GA took all first place votes from the judging panel for the lightheavyweight class win.

..... Jason then moved into the final comparisons and pose down and was the pick of the judges for the overall win.

..... Cassandra Wilson, 33, of Lawrenceville, GA was the unanimous choice of the judges for the lightheavyweight class win.

..... There were no other weight class entries and Cassandra was the overall winner.

..... The Figure Division was divided into three height classes.

..... Bethany Gainey, 26, of Atlanta, GA took all first place votes in both rounds of competition to take the Class A win.

..... Bethany moved into the final comparisons and was the pick of the judging panel for the overall win.

23rd Annual 2005 NPC Sunshine Classic
..... The 23rd NPC Sunshine Classic, the first national qualifier for Florida for 2005, was held on March 12 under the promotion of Frank Dalto and Mother Nature’s Pantry at the William T. Dwyer Auditorium in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

..... Thirty-three-year-old Jabaar Patterson of Hobe Sound took the majority of first place votes from the judging panel for the lightheavyweight class win.
.....
..... Jabaar then moved into the final comparisons and pose down and took all first place votes for the unanimous decision.
.....
..... Denise Fischer, 42, of Wellington was the unanimous pick of the judges for the middleweight class win.
.....
..... Denise again captured all first place votes after the final comparisons and pose down for the overall title.

..... The Fitness Division had just one entry and Michelle Theison, 32, of Port St. Lucie West was the overall winner.

..... The Figure Division was divided into four height classes with a total of 23 competitors.

..... Sherie Salvadori, 40, of Miramar took all first place votes in both rounds of competition to take the Class B win.
.....
..... Sherie then went into the final comparisons of the class winners and took the majority of first place votes from the judges for the overall title.

2004 NPC South Florida District Championships
..... The 2004 NPC South Florida District Championships were held at the Milander Auditorium in Hialeah on November 27 under the promotional efforts of Sergio Pacheco and his Physique World Gym.

..... Phillip Ricardo, Jr., took the lightheavyweight class win and went into the final comparisons and posedown and was the pick of the judging panel for the overall win.
.....
..... Grimaldi Sanchez was the choice of the judges for the middleweight class win and due to no other entries in the other weight classes Grimaldi was the automatic overall division winner.
.....
..... Sherie Salvadori was the winner of the short class in the Figure Division and moved into the final comparisons to take the majority of first place votes from the judges for the overall title.
