The first show for Kentucky for 2006 was the NPC Beverly International
Northern Kentucky Bodybuilding and Figure Championships that was held
at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington on March 18
under the promotional efforts of Roger and Sandy Reidenger. ..... .....
This show drew a total of 238 competitors from 16 different states with
a evening crowd of 2,100 in attendance and over 800 in attendance for
the prejudging. ..... .....
Thirty-six-year-old John Clark of Edgewood, KY faced a tough field of
18 other top competitors in the lightheavyweight class and took all
first place votes from the judges for the unanimous class win. ..... .....
John entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class
winners and was tied with the superheavyweight winner for the overall
with 8-points each. The high and low scores were placed back into the
scoring and John Clark emerged as the overall winner. ..... .....
Kimberly Ferrell, 34, of Indianapolis, IN, who was in her second
contest appearance, was competing with eight other athletes for the
middleweight class title and managed all first place votes from the
judging panel for the unanimous decision. ..... .....

winners and once again took all first place votes from the judges for

that were held on March 18 at the William T. Dwyer High School
Auditorium in Palm Beach Gardens under the promotion of Frank Dalto and

Thirty-nine-year old Mark Smith of Miramar, FL took the heavyweight
class win by receiving all first place votes from the judges. ..... .....
Mark then entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the class
winners and took a two-point (7 - 9) decision for the overall title. ..... .....
Renee Oppedisano, 28, of West Palm Beach, FL captured the middleweight
class by taking all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous

Renee then entered into the final comparisons and pose down of the
class winners and once again took all first place votes from the judges
