2003 NPC Excalibur
..... The 2003 NPC Excalibur, a National Qualifier, was held on August 23 at The Sottile Theatre in Charleston, SC under the promotion of Tres Bennett and Glenn Herring.

..... Thirty-two-year-old Karl Ricanike, Jr., of Wilmington, NC was the winner of the lightheavyweight class and moved into the finals to take the overall win.
.....
..... Veteran competitor Pam Rogers, 32, of Gastonia, NC was the pick of the judges for the middleweight class win and after the final comparisons and pose down was declared the overall winner.

..... The Fitness Division had just two entries and it was thirty-nine-year-old Sidney Jones of Mt. Pleasant, SC taking the overall win.

..... The Figure Division was divided into three height classes and it was twenty-two-year-old Wendy Arnold of Charleston, SC taking the Class B win and after the final comparisons was the pick of the judges for the overall win.

2003 NPC Tennessee State
..... The 2003 Tennessee State Bodybuilding and Figure Championships were held at the Tucker Theatre on the campus of the Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro under the promotion of Bryan Hayworth and Roger McConnell.

..... Thirty-three-year-old James Ward of Knoxville took the majority of first place votes for the heavyweight class win and moved into the finals to capture the overall title.

..... Alissa Jones, 28, of Murfreesboro was making her very first contest appearance and was the unanimous choice of the judges for the lightweight class win and after the final comparisons and pose down was the choice for the overall title.

..... The Figure Division was divided into two height classes and it was thirty-five-year-old Pam Crabtree of Murfreesboro taking the tall class win over 15 other competitors with a total of 14 points for the class win.

2003 NPC Coastal USA
..... The last national qualifier in 2003 for Georgia, the NPC Coastal USA, was held on August 30 at the Cobb County Civic Center under the promotion of Georgia State Chairman Ty Felder.

..... Darren Thomas, 32, of Canton, GA faced off against four other athletes for the lightheavyweight class win and emerged as the overall title winner after the final comparisons and pose down.

..... Twenty-five-year-old Janelle Briggs of Stone Mountain, GA was the choice of the judges for the lightweight class win and moved into the finals to take the overall win.

..... The Figure Division was divided into two height classes and it was twenty-six-year-old Heidi Hogue of Atlanta, GA taking the short class win and moved into the final comparisons to take the overall win.
