The 2003 NPC Body Tech Classic was held on July 26 at the Bama Theater
in Tuscaloosa, AL under the promotion of Ron Wedgeworth and Body-Tech
Fitness Center. ..... .....
Twenty-one-year-old Nathan Hoppe of Tuscaloosa was making his very
first contest appearance and took the middleweight class by a unanimous
decision. ..... ..... Nathan then moved into the final comparisons and once again scored a unanimous victory for the overall. ..... .....
Andrea Hirst, 39, of Northport, AL, the 2002 NPC Body-Tech Women’s
Champion, returned to defend her title and did so by taking the
middleweight class with all first place votes from the judges. ..... .....
Andrea eased into the final comparisons and pose down and once again
took all first place votes from the judging panel for the overall win. ..... .....
The Figure Division had a total of five entrants and Kym Spiller, 30,
of Northport, AL was competing in Figure for the first time and took
first place in both rounds of competition to take the overall win.

competition in the lightheavyweight class against 6 top athletes to
take the class win by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... Robert moved into the final comparisons and pose down to take the overall win. ..... ..... Laura Griffin, 41, of Duluth faced competition from four athletes to take the middleweight class win by a unanimous decision. ..... ..... Laura went into the final comparisons and emerged as the choice of the judges for the overall win. ..... .....
The Fitness Division had three entrants and thirty-one-year-old Diana
Monti-Crandall of Roswell was the unanimous choice of the judges in all
three rounds of competition for the overall win.

Branscomb Auditorium of Florida Southern College in Lakeland on June 21
under the promotion of Debbie Callahan. ..... .....
Willie Vegas, 36, of Bradenton faced tough competition in the
middleweight class from 6 other athletes and emerged with a unanimous
decision for the class win. Willie moved into the finals and was the
choice of the judges for the overall. ..... .....
Stacy Arthur, 35, of Lakeland was making her first contest appearance
and took the lightweight class by a unanimous decision and after the
final comparisons was declared the overall winner. ..... ..... The Fitness Division had one entrant and Brandy Clayton, 23, of Lakeland was the overall winner. ..... .....
The Figure Division was divided into two classes and Dianne Nater, 37,
of Orlando finished two rounds of the competition with a total of 21
points to take the tall class win. ..... ..... Dianne moved into the finals and took the majority of the judges votes for the overall win.
