Championships was presented by promoter Gordon Weir on July 23 at the
Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson. ..... ..... Forty-three-year-old Robert Owens of Meridian was the unanimous choice of the judges for the middleweight class win. ..... ..... Robert went into the final comparisons of the class winners and took a one-point (8 - 9) decision for the overall title. ..... .....
Judy Gaillard, 34, of Ripley, fresh from her overall win at the 2005
NPC River City, continued her streak of class wins by taking the
middleweight class by a unanimous decision. ..... .....
Judy then entered the final comparisons and pose down and once again
took all first place votes from the judges for the overall title. ..... ..... The Figure Division was divided into three height classes with a total of 8 athletes entered. ..... ..... Thirty-three-year-old LaQuida Sanders of Jackson took a two-round total of 19 points to take the short class win. ..... ..... LaQuida then went into the final comparisons and was the unanimous choice of the judges for the overall title.

Mike Rice, 32, of Marietta continued his win streak from the 2005 NPC
Southeastern Gold’s Classic in Gadsden, AL and once again drew all
first place votes from the judges for the superheavyweight class win. ..... ..... Mike entered the finals and once again dominated the competition to take his second overall title this year. ..... ..... Twenty-nine-year-old Alicia Adams of Marietta scored all first place votes from the judges for the middleweight class win. ..... ..... Alicia then went into the final comparisons and pose down and was the choice of the judges for the overall title.

Annual NPC Ancient City Bodybuilding and Figure Championships at the
Pedro Menendez High School Auditorium on July 16. ..... .....
Thirty-year-old Pete Leddy of Jacksonville scored all first place votes
from the judges for the unanimous middleweight class win. ..... .....
Pete then entered the final comparisons and pose down of the class
winners and took the majority of first place votes from the judging
panel for the overall win. ..... ..... Tanys Carere, 30, of Jacksonville was competing for the first time and was unopposed in the lightweight class. ..... .....
Tanys went into the finals and after the comparisons and pose down
emerged with a one-point (7 - 8) margin of victory for the overall
title. ..... ..... The Figure Division was divided into two height classes with a total of 10 athletes competing. ..... ..... Melody Clere, 23, of Jacksonville took a two-round total of 11 points to take the short class win. ..... ..... Melody moved into the final comparisons and emerged with all first place votes from the judges for the unanimous win.

Casino in Tunica, MS under the promotion of 2004 NPC Tennessee State
champion, Chris Caudy. ..... .....
Forty-one-year-old Todd Scarborough of Jasper, AR dominated the
heavyweight class by taking all first place votes from the judges for
the class win. ..... .....
Todd moved into the final comparisons and pose down and once again took
the majority of first place votes from the judges for the overall win. ..... ..... Alicia Miller, 24, of Jackson, TN captured all first place votes in the heavyweight class for the class win. ..... .....
Alicia then added another overall trophy to her credit by taking the
overall victory after the final comparisons and pose down of the class
winners. ..... ..... The Figure Division had two height classes with a total of 10 athletes competing. ..... .....
Jennifer Roten, 28, of Jackson, TN took all first place votes in both
rounds of competition for a total of 10 points to take the tall class
win. ..... ..... Jennifer went into the final comparisons and was the choice of the judging panel for the overall title.

Ronald then moved into the final comparisons and pose down and once
again was the choice of the judging panel for the overall win. ..... ..... Brenda White of Phenix City, AL was unopposed in the heavyweight class. ..... ..... Brenda was the only entrant in the women’s open division and was declared the overall winner. ..... ..... The Figure Division had three entries in two height classes. ..... ..... Jesse Ferguson, 28, of Atlanta, GA scored all first place votes in both rounds of competition for the short class win. ..... ..... Jesse then went into the final comparisons and was the pick of the judges for the overall win.

by a unanimous decision after taking all first place votes from the
judges. ..... ..... Robert went into the final comparisons and pose down and was the pick of the judges for the overall title. ..... ..... First time competitor Sue Richardson, 45, of Northport, AL was unopposed in the lightweight class. ..... ..... Sue was the only entrant in the women’s bodybuilding and was declared the overall winner. ..... ..... First time competitor Michele Lane, 37, of Mobile, AL was unopposed in the Fitness Division. ..... ..... The Figure Division had a total of 8 athletes entered in three height divisions. ..... .....
First time competitor Shannon Chimento, 35, of Mobile, AL took a
two-round total of 9 points and was tied with the second place
finisher, also with nine points, for first place. ..... ..... The highs and lows were added back into the scores and Shannon was declared the short class winner. ..... ..... Shannon went into the final comparisons and was the choice of the judges for the overall win.
