-Physical fitness not at all a part of my upbringing but was introduced to concept in high school and totally took to it but just wasn't a focus yet. Now I have strong support as my husband and children very supportive.

-First competition was in 11/2008- Lackland Classic. Placed 4th in Masters Division

-Very short competitive record: 2008 Lackland Classic: 4th. 2009 Lonestar Classic: B class: 3rd place, Masters: 1st

-Competitive goals: Place 1st in my height class then go from there.

-Competing motivators: I tell my girlfriends I want to be the hottest old chic in the nursing home. I saw a photo of Cheryl Brown and I literally saved it as: motivation!

-Most memorable experience? : Being in the dressing room back stage as we all prepared. Being surrounded by so many beautiful women who has made such sacrifices and who had committed so much time to looking their very best. Just to be in the same room with them felt awesome.

-Special recognition/thanks/? I'm blessed with a very supportive job environment. We actually have a gym in our office and everyone has been so supportive so I have to thank my employers. My husband and children make alot of sacrifices when I do this so I thank god for giving me such a great family! Also, and this is very important: I was more of the ugly duckling growing up so just the fact that so many people in this sport have been encouraging, the compliments from women and men alike - I don't even know what to say to that, sometimes it's like: wow, someone actually thinks I'm beautiful. Above all- Dan Ray worked with me on the photo shoot to draw me out of my shyness and encouraged me. Tracy Nelson also provided the encouragement to go ahead with the shoot so I'm grateful to her and I think she is absolutely stunning.
