If someone would have told me 6 years ago that I would be in pursuit for my professional status as a female bodybuilder I would have told them they were crazy!

Originally born in a small town, St. Simons Island, GA, you could say that I am a typical Georgia Peach. Sheltered from the big city life and very naïve to anything other than the Beaver Family, I had no intentions and knowledge of the bodybuilding community! Growing up I studied dance. That was my life and I was self confident that I would leave this world as a dancer! A part of me still does. As we grow in life, things change and we experience difference phases. Who you are today is not who you are going to be in 5yrs from now.

I have had the opportunity to dance and perform at Busch Gardens and Disney. Thereafter, I was living my dream career as a dance instructor. I started working at a gym part time (to stay out of trouble) and that seemed to spark my interest into the fitness industry. I learned as much as I could absorb and realized that there was a whole other world that I didn’t know existed. Anyone who knows me now can attest that I can’t sit still, so after asking many questions and becoming more intrigued with weightlifting I took a job in Jacksonville, FL. There, I managed a personal training department within a Cory Everson gym. Eventually, that escalated into co-owning and operating a Personal Training/Chiropractic Company that we subcontracted into multiple locations.

During my time in Jacksonville, I met a gentleman John Mier w/ Premier Physiques and that seemed to launch my competitive edge. He opened my eyes to the different possibilities and opportunities and took my physique to a whole new level. As I climbed the ranks and improved my placements, my body started to change before my eyes. Complacent at the local/amateur shows, I was then fortunate to run into Tony Racanelli. What can I say? The rest is history. As a mentor, best friend, and a PHENOMENAL trainer, he coaches me mentally, physically, and emotionally. I am very confident in saying “expect Pro Status recognition in the coming year 2009” (SHHHHH!!!)

Currently residing in Columbus GA, I’m taking a different approach. Columbus is a small town and doesn’t quite understand the bodybuilding lifestyle or desire. I’m managing Fitness for Women, a ladies club while working for ACS (American Club Systems). We specialize in health club management, consulting, accounting, collections, and even personal training.

People ask and comment with curiosity on how and why I do what I do. No matter what sport, activity, work, (etc) that we involve ourselves in, as long as we believe in ourselves and always strive to improve, I am a firm believer that anyone can achieve anything!
