It is my great pleasure to introduce Zrinka Korac, Croatian National Champion and Overall European Champion in body fitness/figure.
Zrinka comes from Croatia, small but beautiful country in Southeastern Europe. http://www.htz.hr/English/Destinacije/Odredista.aspx
She started to compete back in 2005 and have won 3 Croatian National Championships since. Her career highlight came in 2008 when she won Overall European Championship and become eligible to enter pro ranks.
Looking at her impressive competition history and incredible desire to compete and win, it seems obvious she will make an outstanding pro athlete.
Coming from fairly unknown country, it is harder for an athlete to make an impact on the pro scene instantly. Lack of exposure for European athletes, works against them, specially when they come to compete in United States. Zrinka is one of a kind, and as a fellow Croatian myself, I believe she will overcome all the obstacles successfully in order to achieve her goal.
Zrinka's diet is based on eggs, lots of fish, cottage cheese (she cuts it out of her diet few weeks before competition), boiled white potatoes, brown rice, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce...Her water intake is over a gallon a day...
Zrinka is very versatile person. Along, with being a champion athlete, she is also highly educated. She is professor of English language and literature and also an archaeologist. She likes music, dance, literature. It makes her well rounded person, indeed.
Zrinka has always been involved in sports. She played volleyball, handball and train gymnastics, but she found her passion in the gym, where she first started to work out 6 1/2 years ago. Everything else is the history!
