Corinna Luray Burt: Another Competitor Worthy of Support or Disdain?
Her blog starts like any other woman's (or man's) in the sport that might be deserving of support when we strip away any other issues that might cause one pause to judge a person.

Corinna Luray Burt can be found with other body focused enthusiasts comparatively displayed on the Muscle & Fitness website. Okay so she has a stage name of "Cori Lou and Slave Corrylu" with videos for sale such as Corrylu's Correction, but lots of girls do porn. Burt has however, become a firebrand of controversy as some have taken a serious dislike to her over her anti-sematic beliefs. Activist writers are pointing to her lifestyle including bodybuilding to be deserving of disdain as much so as her beliefs. Gawker.com wrote, "Unlike pornography, Corinna believes bodybuilding to be well-suited to her supremacist beliefs. On her bodybuilding blog, she credits her "genetics" for helping her "to quickly pack on muscle!"
Simultaneously apologizing for criticizing Burts "sex worker" status Portland's Independent Media Center writes, "While the white supremacist movement has several female leaders other than Burt, the movement as a whole tends to treat women primarily as vessels for white babies or as objects of fantasies. The mother/whore dichotomy that exists in American society as a whole is greatly magnified within the white power movement. We aim to even further highlight these misogynist contradictions and make them a thing of the past, along with fascism." www.portland.indymedia.org
A poster to Burts' blog wrote, "Maybe you can wait three months to compete, but there's no reason to wait any longer to follow you idiotic leader and shoot yourself in the face. Do the world a favor and leave us all with one more dead nazi."
Does Burt deserve equal treatment in the sport and industry considering her actions as well as beliefs? Some in the sport and industry promote the position that everyone should be treated equally regardless while others regularly shun people over actions and beliefs through sponsorships, message board activities, etc. Are we our brother or sisters' keeper or even responsible for our own actions these days?

MENS' BODYBUILDING
Jason Huh wins 2010 USA's Men's Bodybuilding earning his pro card in the Super Heavyweight class along with Vladimir Sizov from the Heavyweight class, Al Auguste from the Light Heavyweight class and Jason Joseph from the Middleweights. Four pro cards in total were available. Jason Huh advanced from a 5th placing at the 2009 USA's and 3rd place spot at the 2008 Nationals with his first national placing being a 1st place finish at the 2004 Teen Nationals. Congratulations to Sarasota Florida's Jason Huh and all the winners.
WOMEN'S BODYBUILDING
Sarah Hayes wins 2010 USA's bodybuilding Overall earning her pro card in the Heavyweight class along with Jannifer Scarpetta from the Light Heavyweight class. Two pro cards in total were available. After transitioning from figure competitions in 2007 Hayes has consistently taken the top spot at regional NPC competitions including the Lone Star, Ronnie Coleman and Europa in 2009 along with a forth place spot at last years' Nationals. Hayes warmed up this year with a first place finish at the Branch Warren Championships and sealed the deal at USAs with what the judges were looking for.

Courtney West wins 2010 USA's figure Overall earning her pro card in Class F along with Mandy Henderson (Class A), Julie Aragon (Class B), Rachel Gichert (Class C) and Deena Walsh (Class D). Five pro cards in total were available. Courtney West might have appeared to have come out of nowhere not having been on the national stage in recent years with a record 3rd place at Team U 2008 and a first place at the NPC Texas State a year prior. However, West is quite well known on the circuit as a very attractive and marketeable Gaspari Nutrition spokesmodel.
BIKINI
Alison Rosen wins 2010 USA's bikini Overall earning her pro card in Class E. Also earning pro cards were Theresa Byrne (Class A), Rachael Labender (Class B), Cathy Miller (Class C), Brandy Leaver (Class D) and Brook Mora (Class F). Six pro cards in total were available. Rosen appeared on the national scene taking a 4th place spot at the 2009 NPC Nationals followed by a 2nd place finish at 2010 Jr. Nationals and 4th at Team Universe. Rosen as part of the Bombshell Team and their media partners at RxMuscle has become increasingly visible and with her new status after earning IFBB Pro status expect to see her in the top placings.
